Benefits of Junior High Camp |
|
To the camper: |
-
The theme of adventure and
exploration coincides with the many changes in their own lives.
-
Gender-specific topics will help
them grow into the women and men that they are becoming.
-
An emphasis on some basic, anchor
truths that all should have nailed down in their lives.
-
Thursday night's game, Path of a
Choice, gives a unique teaching opportunity as each camper is
taught the need to make good decisions early and consistently.
|
|
To the church: |
- The main spiritual thrust of
the camp is God's Word—know it,
love it, use it!
- A niche week
of camp that fits those young people who are too old for junior
camp but not yet ready for teen camp.
- Small weeks
insure that no one gets lost in the crowd.
