Tom's first summer at Ironwood was 1989; when he returned the following summer, he brought Sara with him. He graduated with an accounting degree from Pensacola Christian College in 1991. He and Sara married that June and two weeks later joined the Ironwood resident staff team, working on program and teaching the elementary class at Ironwood Christian Academy. They took a twelve year sabbatical and returned to Ironwood in January 2007. Tom is the Rivertown Program Director, and Sara does a great job answering phones and helping in the registration office. Twins, Bethany and Emilie, are in tenth grade at Ironwood Christian Academy and help in the snack shops around camp during the summer.
